About Elmbrook

Elmbrook Church is a non-denominational, evangelical Christian church that welcomes people of all backgrounds. We believe that God loves all people and that His word, the Bible, has practical spiritual guidance for every life situation.

About 6,000 people gather for worship each weekend at Elmbrook, during 4 identical worship services held at 5 pm Saturdays or 8, 9:30 or 11 am Sundays. Join us!

Ministries and organizations in the local area who provide food to people in need, such as the Food Pantry of Waukesha County, The Salvation Army-Waukesha, The Women's Center in Waukesha, City on a Hill, Lighthouse Gospel Church, Repairers of the Breach, and the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin Upcoming dates are October 1/2, November 5/6, and December 3/4. Place bags of donated food in the collection bins by the north and south entrances. Suggested non-perishable food items include cereal, soup, chili, beef stew, canned fruit & vegetables, tuna, canned meat, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, jelly juice, rice, potato or noodle mixes, nutritious snack foods, crackers, powered milk, baby food & formula, disposable diapers & wipes, etc.

Winter Camp- Middle School

WINTER CAMP Winter Camp is a favorite weekend for middle school students! We will head away to a camp in Northeast Iowa where we will enjoy tubing, broomball, winter sports, warm hot cocoa, teaching from God’s Word and building new and old friendships. Feb. 3-5 Cost: $129 before Jan. 8; after Jan. 8 $155 Registration will be open until Jan. 29 or when full Meet at Elmbrook on Feb. 3 at 3 pm; check-in will be in the Fellowship Hall (Bus departs promptly at 3:30 pm) Pick-up at Elmbrook approx. 5 pm Sun., Feb. 5

Premarital Class

Premarital class is intended for those planning to be married or exploring the idea of Christian marriage. It is required for those intending to get married at Elmbrook or by an Elmbrook pastor. The class features large-group teaching sessions on pertinent topics and small-group discussions led by qualified and invested leaders. Couples do not have to be engaged to attend, and they do not have to have any affiliation with Elmbrook Church. Briscoe Study- "Living in the Word"

“Living in the Word” Study with Stuart and Jill Briscoe The American Bible Society reported recently that more Bibles are being translated, published and distributed than ever before. That’s the good news. Sadly the bad news is – fewer and fewer people are engaging with Scripture on a regular basis. There are, no doubt, many reasons for this. Perhaps lack of interest, time or even know how. So we are offering a six week series designed to show why engaging with Scripture is vitally necessary for Spiritual well being, how to go about doing it, and what are some of the benefits of “living in the Word.” Just one little clue – Jesus said, “If you live in my word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) Great for all audiences. Teens on up. 6-week series meeting Wednesdays, January 4-February 8, 6:30 pm in the Chapel. No registration fee.

Outtasight off-site home groups

Students meet in homes throughout the community to engage in deep relationships, challenge each other in their faith, explore the Bible, and grow closer to God. High School Winter Camp

WINTER CAMP – FEB. 17-19, 2012 Winter Camp is always a highlight of our ministry year. We head up to a camp in northern Wisconsin for a weekend retreat where students have the chance to enjoy all sorts of winter activities like broomball, ice skating, and tubing. During the weekend we’ll be spending time in God’s word and worshipping together, all the while meeting new friends and deepening relationships with each other. Cost: $129 before Jan. 8; after Jan. 8 $155 Registration will be open until Feb. 12 or when full Meet at Elmbrook on Feb. 17 at 3 pm; check-in will be in the Fellowship Hall (Bus departs promptly at 3:30pm) Pick-up at Elmbrook approx. 7 pm Sun., Feb. 19 *Parents please watch for a link in your confirmation email with full details and a packing list once you register.

After the large group session, a small group environment has been created with interactive elements that encourage kids to apply God’s Word to their lives.

Students meet in homes throughout the community to engage in deep relationships, challenge each other in their faith, explore the Bible, and grow closer to God. We are looking to expand our reach of home groups and are looking for students, parents, and leaders who are asking, “Where is God sending us?
