Baptism

Baptism

Identification with Christ in baptism is expected of every believer. A one-time class is required for anyone desiring to be baptized. Elmbrook Church practices believers’ baptism by immersion, intended for people 15 and older. (Middle school students welcome if accompanied by a parent.)

Times/Dates

Upcoming baptism dates are June 10 (pond), August 12 (pond) and November 11 (Auditorium). All will be held at 12:30 pm (immediately following third service).
A required one-time orientation class is held in advance of each baptism, and these dates are interchangeable. For instance, someone could take the orientation class in June but choose to be baptized in August. Upcoming orientation classes are May 6 (8 am), June 3 (8 am), July 22 (9:30-10:30 am), July 29 (9:30-10:30 am), October 14 (8 am) and October 17 (6:30-8 pm).
The baptism candidate form, below, includes an opportunity to share your faith story. This form must be filled out and brought to the orientation class.

Men's Golf League

Safe People

Safe People offers guidance for making safe choices in relationships. By digging into the traits of unsafe people and recognizing what makes people trustworthy, you will identify the nurturing people we all need in our lives as well as ones we need to learn to avoid. This 8 week class incorporates a video teaching followed by a small group discussion time. For men and women who desire to improve their understanding of relationships.
