Parent/Child Dedication
We call this special ceremony ‘Parent/Child Dedication’ because two types of people are being dedicated. Parents are dedicating themselves to be fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ. They are dedicating themselves, but they are also dedicating their children. They realize that God has entrusted these little ones to their care, so that they would raise them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Parent/Child Dedication is an important reminder to our church family to pray and pledge support for these families.
CLASS INFORMATION
Parent/Child Dedications are held periodically throughout the year. Three mandatory parent classes are held in advance of the Dedication ceremony. Check back late this summer for new class and dedication dates.
