GriefShare

GriefShare offers comfort and encouragement to those grieving the loss of a loved one. The purpose of this group is to provide support and encouragement; to share the road with fellow “travelers” who know how you feel, ask the same questions, have the same spiritual needs.

The group invites those who are dealing with the death of their child, spouse, close friend, parent, sibling or other family member. Together we will address the coping needs of today and, with Christ’s guidance, seek direction for tomorrow.

Details

The current GriefShare group has begun. While there are distinct advantages to starting at the beginning of a session, we realize that you may need support at any given time, so our group is open to you along the way. If you prefer to wait for the next session, we will be starting a new GriefShare group in September. Contact Skip Smeiska 262.544.1026/email or Kathy Valentino 414.475.6558/email for more information.

Each GriefShare session includes:
  • DVD seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects
  • Practical information with a biblical, Christ-centered focus
  • Small group discussion about what you’ve seen
  • Interaction with others who have experienced a recent loss
