About the Event

BrookfieldAdultsMen

Join other men for a weekly Bible study gathering at the Brookfield campus. Several different areas of study will be covered throughout the ministry year, with timing and descriptions of each below.

September 17 – November 12, 2024

Joshua: After roaming the wilderness for decades, God's people finally reached the Promised Land. But there were still obstacles that stood in their way. Securing the land God had promised them would require strength, courage, and faith. Our story today isn't too far removed from Joshua and the Israelites: we need the same strength, courage, and faith to face the challenges in our lives. Learn what it means to follow God faithfully, no matter what obstacles are before you in this study on the book of Joshua.

November 19 – December 10, 2024

God’s Uncommon Man: Do you ever wonder what it looks like to be a man of faith?  In this three-session series, sportscaster James Brown and former NFL coach Tony Dungy will explain what it means to be an "uncommon man" - a man who follows God faithfully. Are you ready to take the next step in your life of faith?

January 7 – February 11, 2025

Jesus’s Farewell Message: Do you know Jesus? It’s one thing to know facts about Him, but to experience His love, wisdom, and guidance in your life is what it means to follow Him. On the night before He was crucified, Jesus invited his disciples into a deep relationship with the triune God—and His invitation stands for us too. In this 6-part series, Francis Chan dives into John 13–17, a passage rich in promises, commands, and eternal truths. He’ll remind us we aren’t called to a part-time faith—we were made to know, walk with, and commune with God.

February 18 – May 6, 2025

James: True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God.
