In the early 2000s, the Elmbrook Church congregation felt the call to be a blessing to the community around it in a new way. Many individuals stepped up to the challenge, and a local move of God took place: the first James Place location opened in Waukesha. During Local Mission Week, we are excited to take time as a church to celebrate this legacy and encourage people to learn more about the five current James Place locations and the services they offer. In addition, Elmbrook Church is fortunate to be able to partner with six organizations that are actively building the kingdom of God in the Milwaukee area. Through prayer, finances, and volunteer opportunities, Elmbrook walks alongside these organizations, officially designated as local partners, in their work.
