Raising a child is an important responsibility.
Through Parent-Child Dedication, parents can declare their commitment to raise their young child in a Christ-centered home before family and friends. For older kids, teenagers and adults, Elmbrook Church practices believer's baptism, which allows them to declare their personal decision to follow Jesus Christ.
The first of our faith milestones at Elmbrook, Parent-Child Dedication, is a cherished celebration that holds deep meaning for both parents and the entire church community. Finding its foundations in 1 Samuel 1:24-2:10 and Luke 2:21-25, dedication is a public expression of a parent's commitment to raising their child in a loving, Jesus-centered home.
At Elmbrook, we believe in the power of love, community, and faith in shaping the lives of our youngest members. We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the joy of parenthood and the commitment to fostering a strong foundation of faith for the next generation.
