Worship Arts Pastor

Elmbrook Church, a 4000-member congregation serving Southeast Wisconsin, seeks a gifted theologian and shepherd to lead the worship ministry at the church’s Brookfield Campus.

Elmbrook is a multigenerational congregation that appreciates a wide variety of musical, sacramental, liturgical, and creative elements and has been blessed with the resources and volunteer base to accomplish this vision. The church appreciates the newer music of Elevation, Bethel, and Phil Wickham, the praise contributions of the Gettys, Chris Tomlin, and Matt Maher, and the hymnic expressions of Shane and Shane, Fernando Ortega, and Reawaken. Passion and proficiency around all these forms of song are required.

While this leader’s primary responsibility will be to work under the teaching pastors and alongside the Production Team to design Biblically-integrated congregational worship experiences, a comprehensive understanding of how to develop and deploy leaders across Elmbrook’s ministry departments will be necessary.

While candidates not possessing Masters degrees may be considered in light of their extensive ministry experience, the title of Pastor – and commensurate salary/benefits – are reserved for those who have been or soon will be ordained per Elmbrook’s policies.

A YouTube playlist that articulates the stylistic (and in some cases, visual/atmospheric) vision for the music ministry is below.
